To commemorate the birth anniversary of the great Indian Engineer, Moksha Gundam Visvesvaraya, India celebrates September 15 as Engineers Day every year. Bharat Ratna Visvesvaraya was regarded as the 'Father of Modern Mysore'. His contribution to the sector of engineering in India has been immense. He had completed his education from College of Engineering, Pune then later went on to figure on significant projects that shaped Indian society into what it's today. His work was applauded with several accolades, the foremost eminent being the Bharat Ratna.
